Jerry Willis Gardner Owner, Funeral Director, Embalmer service@segofuneralhome.com

Jerry is a life-long resident of Hart County, having been raised on a farm in the Center Point community.  He graduated from Cub Run High School in 1969, at which time he began working with Mr. Sego by digging graves for the funeral home and taking care of his walking horse at Sego Stables.  As time went on, Mr. Sego encouraged Jerry to consider a career as a mortician so he went on to pursue his degree in mortuary science and graduating from the Mid-America College of Funeral Service.  In 1998, he and his wife were able to purchase the funeral home.

Sandra was raised on a farm in the Cub Run Community of Hart County.  She graduated from Hart County High School and attended Elizabethtown Community College before receiving her degree in mortuary science from Mid-America College of Funeral Service.  Sandra was an apprentice funeral director and embalmer at Sego Funeral Home and worked at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home for ten years. In 1998 she and her husband returned to Munfordville and bought Sego Funeral Home.

Simon Riggs Apprentice Funeral Director/Embalmer

Simon grew up on a farm outside of Upton, Kentucky on the southern edge of Hardin County. He graduated from Central Hardin High School in 2012 where he went on to attend Western Kentucky University.  While attending WKY he worked as a Student Athletic Trainer for the football team and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business in 2016. After graduating he moved back home to run his grandfather’s farm in Bonnieville, Kentucky which is where he currently lives.  Over the past couple years he worked in the insurance field and then at Sister Schubert’s in Horse Cave before deciding to go back to school at Mid America College to pursue his degree in Mortuary Science. Before joining the staff at Sego Funeral Home he worked at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home as an assistant.
